1) Which part of the the course are you most looking forward to?

. I don't have a specific answer yet, because I'm not too sure what's coming up on the course.    

2) What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media?

. I hope to learn how to list all/ tell between all camera angles/ moevemts /shots etc.

3) What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media (5-9)

. I think its everyones desire to achieve a 9, but realistically i hope to achieve a 6 or 7.

4) What was the last TV program or film you watched?

.The last film I watched was called "When they see us", its 4 episodes in total and another episode where they get interviewed by Oprah. 

5) Why do you think that TV programme or film appealed to an audience? Why would an audience like it?

.It's a very touching story and its based on a true event. I think it spreads awareness which would be a reason many people like it and people would be able to try put them into perspective. It also talks about the struggle a group of children had faced of racism which was very heart-breaking and had everyone in tears.

6) What technology have you used to acmes Media in the last 24- hours?  

. My phone and laptop.

7) What device to use the most to access the Media?

. My phone.

8) why was the casting of Jodie Whittaker a significant moment in the history of Doctor Who?

. Jodie was the first female to play in the Doctor's position, which made it a significant moment in history, since it was a big change finally they had casted a female to play the role.

9) What aspects the scenes would the audience most enjoy? List at least three things and explain why the audience would enjoy each aspect.

. The dramatic speeches and scenery would be something the audience would enjoy since, it creates a very tense scenery, and most audiences enjoy seeing that.

. When the next Doctor comes, and everyone comes to realisation that it's a female playing the role, that makes it exciting for the audience its something new and its a change.

. At the end mood changes very quick Jodie hits a button and all of a sudden the time machine explodes and she's falling off, and finishing it off with a cliff-hanger. The audience would want to watch more and see what happens

statement of intent for media 2-minute film

 My two minute short film is called LOOP! Based on a girl who constantly goes through a series of loops to find out all along it was her friend who put it upon her. This will be the 2 minutes of the beginning of the first episode Language characters  - Helya : Persian, 15 year old, female , working class , hemosexual ,   - Arielle : Mixed race, 15 years old , female , working class, heterosexual  Setting and lighting - bedroom setting ,  daylight to signify abnormal nature of the situation - outside area , garden , dark to show time difference Audience - It's targeted towards younger teenagers. I have done this through using young characters, they are wearing vibrant colours, like blue and purple, which is commonly worn by younger teenagers. Arielle has her hair in braids, a trending and modern hairstyle. Helya has her hair in a messy curly bun which is also a hairstyle worn a lot by younger generations.   1) Who is the target audience for Doctor Who? Has it changed since 1963? -  The target audience masses from (12-40), which has really changed since 1963 and has a large increase in viewers. 2) What  audience psychographic groups  might particularly enjoy Doctor Who? - Age - probably much older/ retired people. Even older teenagers, because of Susan. - Genger - Now as the time is passing more of both males and females are watching.  - Race/ ethnicity - I don't think this one is specific because they now include more o f a diverse cast. 3) What audience pleasures are offered by An Unearthly Child? Apply Blumler and Katz's Uses and Gratifications theory to the episode. Personal Identity: Being able to relate to the characters, for example teenage audience that relates to Susan.
