Advertising & Magazines assessment: Learner response

1) Type up your WWW/EBI feedback in full (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential).

WWW:

- I was able to analyse unseen media products

- Knowledge of print advert conventions

- Some knowledge of historical, social and cultural contexts in relation to OMO CSP.

EBI:

- Revise magazine conventions

- Revise media glossary to ensure I include subject specific terminology in my response

2)

Q1: 0

Q2: 6

Q3: 4

Q4: 2

Q5: 5

3) Did you get any media terminology wrong in the assessment? If yes, make a note of the right answer here for future revision:
- I hadn't gotten any wrong I just needed to add more to make it better. Eg. In question 2 I should've talked about the colour scheme- yellow typography, emerald green of Kate Middleton's dress showing royalty and wealth.
-typography- serif (title ' Grazia')
- Verbal codes: Images of fashion relate to female target audience.

4) Look specifically at question 2 - the unseen media analysis. Pick out three points from the mark scheme that you didn't include in your analysis of the Grazia magazine cover.
 - Kate Middleton is wearing an emerald green dress, indicating a sign of royalty.
 - The blue background links to winter edition (release date).
 -  Sanserif cover line 'love island' ensuring they target younger modern audience popular reality TV.
