 1) WWW: Great effort in assessment, strong attempt at Question 3 (unseen advert analysis) and Question 7 Tattler CSP British values.

EBI: More application of theory and terminology - evaluate the CSPs further and in more detail rather than explaining the theories!

3) Look at Question 4. What is Todorov's theory of equilibrium? How does it link to the Audrey Hepburn Galaxy advert? 

Todorovs theory-  Todorov, suggests that all narratives follow a three part structure. They begin with equilibrium, where everything is balanced, progress as something comes along to disrupt that equilibrium, and finally reach a resolution, when equilibrium is restored.

The advert begins normally, then a disruption happens where the fruit seller and the bus driver start arguing then the chauffeur comes and creates a new equilibrium by 'saving' Audrey Hepburn.

4) What social class is Reveal aimed at?

higher class/ elite/ aristocrats

5) Pick three cover lines from Tattler that reflect upper class British culture and society. Explain what they suggest about the lifestyle and beliefs of upper class British people.               

-'James corden's LA life', this uses star power, which attracts its target audience because James Corden is a part of the higher elite class.

- 'rules for the 21st century', Tatler is a much older magazine. They are trying to modernise the magazine much more.

 OMO print advert 1) What year was the advert produced? - It was produced in 1955 2)  How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s? - Women were mostly presented as housewives, they were shown to always be cleaning, cooking, washing etc. 3)  How does the heading message ('OMO makes whites bright') and typography promote the product? - This was a technique used to promote their products to customers, so more people would buy from them. statement of intent for media 2-minute film

 My two minute short film is called LOOP! Based on a girl who constantly goes through a series of loops to find out all along it was her friend who put it upon her. This will be the 2 minutes of the beginning of the first episode Language characters  - Helya : Persian, 15 year old, female , working class , hemosexual ,   - Arielle : Mixed race, 15 years old , female , working class, heterosexual  Setting and lighting - bedroom setting ,  daylight to signify abnormal nature of the situation - outside area , garden , dark to show time difference Audience - It's targeted towards younger teenagers. I have done this through using young characters, they are wearing vibrant colours, like blue and purple, which is commonly worn by younger teenagers. Arielle has her hair in braids, a trending and modern hairstyle. Helya has her hair in a messy curly bun which is also a hairstyle worn a lot by younger generations.   1) Who is the target audience for Doctor Who? Has it changed since 1963? -  The target audience masses from (12-40), which has really changed since 1963 and has a large increase in viewers. 2) What  audience psychographic groups  might particularly enjoy Doctor Who? - Age - probably much older/ retired people. Even older teenagers, because of Susan. - Genger - Now as the time is passing more of both males and females are watching.  - Race/ ethnicity - I don't think this one is specific because they now include more o f a diverse cast. 3) What audience pleasures are offered by An Unearthly Child? Apply Blumler and Katz's Uses and Gratifications theory to the episode. Personal Identity: Being able to relate to the characters, for example teenage audience that relates to Susan.
